Number of years playing: I have been singing and performing for 15 years.
 
Number of years teaching: While this is my first year teaching on my own, I spent several years assisting my childhood vocal coach in singing lessons with younger students.
 
Education: I completed high school at Newcastle High in Newcastle, OK in 2006. I attended Oklahoma City Community College from 2006-2008, and will receive a degree in Multiple Disciplinary Studies from the University of Oklahoma in the Fall of 2010.
 
Teaching strengths: I have many years of experience singing and performing in a wide variety of venues and have been involved in many productions and traveling shows where I have gained much knowledge and experience few people my age have. I have experience with many types of music and have a natural ear for music and voice. I am also a person who prides myself on my ability to work with all types of people.
 
Influences: My style has been influenced but a range of singers including Aretha Franklin, Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey, The Judds, and my voice teacher Brenda Severson.
 
Favorite album: Rascal Flats, Still Feels Good and Me and My Gange.

Favorite food: Mexican
 
Other information: I am 21 years old and have grown up in Oklahoma and spent most of my childhood singing and performing all over the state. Although I have taken several years off from singing while I focused on my education I am so excited to finally be getting back into the thing I love most!
